All components of the Presse are top rack dishwasher-safe. It can also be hand washed. To clean out coffee grounds, we recommend dumping them into your compost, garden, or trash. It is not recommended to rinse grounds down your sink drain.
- Fill the bottom basket of the inner press with coarse ground coffee with 2-4 tbsp* or measure and place the grounds directly in the Presse.
- In the outer tumbler, add the measured coffee and 12oz of water heated to 200 degrees F. To heat the water, you can use a kettle, boil on stove top, or microwave in a separate microwave-safe container. Stir the water and grounds together, and allow it to sit for 3-5 minutes.*
- Slowly and gently push down the inner press until you hit the bottom of the tumbler. Use caution while pressing, contents will be hot.
- We recommend allowing the contents to cool with the lid off for a few minutes before sipping. Place the silicone lid on, and enjoy your freshly brewed coffee on-the-go!
*You can adjust the amount of coffee grounds and brew time to align with your coffee strength preference.

Yes, along with coffee, the Presse To-Go can also be used to brew loose leaf tea. Add 1-3 tablespoons of your favourite tea blend and follow the same brewing instructions for coffee.
